The system will operate on most popular types of personal computers. One of our requirements in building the system was that it be capable of running on a wide variety of commonly used computers. We have taken particular care during the testing stage of the project to ensure that this is indeed the case. We anticipate developing ROS to run on the UNIX and Linux platforms at a later stage. |

Yes. We will be placing the correspondence we issue to you in your secure ROS Inbox accessible form your ROS Secure Services. The correspondence will include copies of the returns transmitted, Statements of Account etc. These documents will be published in what is called PDF format and you will need particular software called Adobe Acrobat Reader to display the document. You can also download Adobe Acrobat Reader for free from the Adobe web site. The address of this site is www.adobe.com. You can also gain access to the site from our System Requirements page. |

| In order to become a ROS customer, you must have a working e-mail account. You will be required to supply ROS with your e-mail address when applying to become a ROS customer. As a ROS customer, you will be sent e-mails notifying you when returns are due and when documents have been placed in the ROS Inbox section of your Secure Services. Should you wish to change the e-mail address you have registered with ROS, you will be able to do so at any time using the Profile section accessible from your ROS Secure Services. |

What should I do if I am upgrading my computer after retrieving my digital certificate? |
|||
| When you retrieve a ROS digital certificate, ROS creates a directory on your computer's hard disk under the following directory structure: Windows: C:\ROS Macintosh: Primary Hard Disk\System Folder\Preferences\ROS If you are upgrading your operating system, you should first make a backup of the ROS directory onto a disk. Then when you have installed your new operating system you can restore the ROS directory containing your digital certificate to the appropriate location. If you are upgrading to a new computer, you should again make a backup of the ROS directory onto a disk. Then you should copy the ROS directory to the appropriate location on your new computer's hard disk. Please note that if you lose your digital certificate and cannot recover it, your certificate will have to be revoked and you will be required to complete the registration process to become a ROS customer again. |
